How My Confidence Increased After Learning These 4 Things From LadyBossBlogger

As some may know, I took the plunge and began blogging when Mila was just one week old! Blogging has always piqued my interest, and when little Mila came along, making the career switch just seemed to fit. I truly loved the idea of being able to raise her while working from home and I now see this as the only option that really sits well with me.

Fast forward - it has been 6 months of maneuvering through the world of blogging - some days/weeks have been more challenging than others with some momentous milestones in between. I have learned so much about the world of social media and influencer marketing in such a short period of time.

It has now been a couple of weeks since my enrollment in LadyBossBlogger’s Make Money As An Influencer course and I have already learned so much! Okay, you’re probably wondering what exactly I have found to be so helpful within this course (just tell us Nikki!).

Each section was easy to make my way through and I appreciated the concise points as not to ramble on! We're parents - time is not one of our luxuries!

As I mentioned earlier, I am still very new to blogging and it has been extremely helpful having Elaine’s guidance as my own confidence and competence as a blogger expands and grows. I cannot wait to see the results that these learnings will generate for me as an influencer. I will be sure to update you with a follow-up post in a couple of weeks’ time!

1. Establish a CLEAR niche and let your feed reflect it!

It can be overwhelming (to say the least) choosing a niche and sticking with it when there seems to be new products for everything and everywhere popping up almost daily!

The LadyBossBlogger course taught me that content needs to be geared towards my audience’s interests. If a brand wants to collaborate, it is my responsibility to ensure the product or service is something my following would truly find value in.

2. Do your RESEARCH

Research research research, each and every brand that crosses your path. You want to be sure you KNOW who you are representing!

3. Connect to influencer marketing companies

These platforms are great for exposure - getting your name out there for brands to see and finding collab opportunities!

4. Find your value and KNOW your value!

There are platforms available that let you know an overall estimate of what you should be charging per post as a starting point to negotiate with brands. LadyBossBlogger also suggests knowing your value and determining when it is time to move past products for posts so as to not get “stuck” or taken advantage of!
